Amazing Bali

We arrived late afternoon in Legian, a touristic place between the airport and Denpasar. We slept just one night there as we decided to rent a motorbike for two days visit of Bali Island. Renting a motorbike here is really CHEAP! less than 5euros per day! :-)
So, we left our big backpacks in Legian and drove to the east part of Bali. We were a bit afraid of the contrast with the untouristic Flores Island, but finally, when you leave Kuta, Sanur and Legian, Bali is really cute and full of temples and flowers! We decided to stop at Amed, a bit more touristic on the coast, but also a place where we could find a hotel to spend the night.  And thanks to Seb, we ended up in a very luxury hotel for less than 20euros night+breakfast for both of us! We spent the night with french divers who were making a "private" not so "private" party in the restaurant we decided to go for dinner.
Next day, we had to be back for 19h at Legian to take our next flight for Sydney. So, we decided to go first to Ubud, known as a culture center in Bali and then back to Legian. We got time, so we went quietly, stopping to make pictures, … and then, I started to stress :-s shit, the feench guy we met 10days earlier in Java told us that he needed a visa just to pass by Australia before going to N-Z. Are we sure, we don't need visa? Looking at the lonely … SHIT! WE NEED A VISITOR VISA :-s
Cath, more positive than usually : "may be we have time to do it … just let's go for a café with wifi and get the registration"
Seb : OK, let's do it but there is no way to have it before tonight!
Cath : Let's try it and KEEP FINGERS CROSSED!
No need to tell you that we didn't enjoy the city because we were both scared to have to buy a new ticket for Australia and … worst … to spend more time in Legian or Kuta! Burk!
When we arrived in Legian, even before taking off our XXX, we checked our mails, and LUCKY WE ARE, we already received our Visas :-) :-) :-) Youhouououhouou!!!
We went for an hour "mango-relaxing" time on the super touristic beach of Legian before taking off for 6h night flight to Sydney :-)
